Why is a website important for my organisation?
Your competitors have a website. Online communication has become at least just as important as having a business card and phone number. To be found on the Internet is the first step, but to have your clients and relations come back to your site is even more important. That’s why it is so important to have a clear and attractive site.
Why do I need professional support to design and develop my website?

What is a Content Management System?
A Content Management System (CMS) allows you to easily maintain your own website (modifying texts and images, adding news messages etc.) at any time convenient for you. A CMS is a web application that allows you to easily publish and change documents and information on the Internet, without a lot of technical knowledge required. You can compare it with an online version of MS Word. We recommend a CMS for websites which content needs to be changed frequently, and will be presented in the lay-out of your website.
What do I need if I already have a site and only would like to re-style my current website?
Many organisations have a website – just to have one, or just to be on the internet. After a while, these organisations realise that the site does not support the objectives (e.g. generating business). Visitors develop their perception of your goods or services based on their first impression. Leeva Design can support you to redesign your current website for it to support your objectives and to create a professional and attractive appearance.
How long will it take to get my site up and running?
The time to complete your website depends of the complexity of your site. A basic design of 5 pages can be developed in 2 to 3 weeks (from initial design through to publication on the Internet). A complex site will take about 4 weeks. These delivery times are indications. Leeva Design works on a personalised basis. The publication date will always be aligned with your requirements or preferences.
The throughput time depends on a.o.:
- · The number of pages to be developed;
- · The extra functionalities that are desired (contact form, flash animations, photo gallery etc.);
- · The availability of an existing logo and entire corporate design;
- · The texts that need to be developed;
- · The number of graphical elements that need to be developed.
Needless to say that you could expedite the development by delivering the available materials (texts, images, logo etc.) as quickly as possible.
What are the costs involved?
Leeva Design delivers high-quality websites against highly attractive rates. Since all projects are different, we would need details on your thoughts and requirements, after which we will provide you with a tailored proposal. How fast can we start and what do I need before I can start?
The best way to start is to complete the contactform or send an e-mail to info@leeva.com.au, after which we will contact you by phone and discuss your thoughts and requirements, such as:

Can Leeva Design write the texts for my site?
Yes, Leeva Design can develop the texts for your website. However, we would encourage you to develop at least the first draft, since you know best about your business and your target audience.
When do I need to pay for the services?
For a website under $600, you can pay after the website has been satisfactory delivered. For larger projects, we will require intermediate instalments. The payment terms will be part of the tailored proposal.
Can Leeva Design update the content of the site after the site has become operational?
Yes, of course! Updating your website is important, since nothing’s worse than an outdated site. Your relations will appreciate frequent updates of your organisation or initiative, your products and services. During the first 6 months after publication on the Internet, we will update small changes for free (less than 30 minutes). After 6 months, we will charge updates per half hour ($40 per half hour). We recommend to group your changes as much as possible.
What is a Domain?
Every organisation that looks for presence on the internet requires a domain registration. The domain is the “address” of your website, for example www.yourorganisation.com.au. Leeva Design can help you registering your domain.
Why do I need hosting of my site?
Hosting of your website is required to publish your site on the Internet. Hosting basically puts your website on a large computer that runs your website and publishes it on the Internet. These computers have 24 hours per day direct connection to the Internet. Therefore, your website will be accessible at any time for visitors all over the world. Leeva Design can help you in selecting and contracting a reliable hosting provider, or even contract the provider on your behalf.
Can I see the site while it’s being developed?
We develop your website in a separate environment, since your website can only be accessed by visitors on your own “address” after you have approved the site. You will have access to this environment, so that you can have a look at the site during the development. This will allow you to have a further look and request some further changes.
What are the copyrights after the site has been developed?
Once the website has been delivered and paid for, the website is entirely yours.
